Position Overview:
As the Director of Solutions Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by leading a dynamic team of solutions engineers. You will be responsible for aligning our solutions with the unique needs of our clients and prospects, providing expert guidance, and ensuring successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages continuous learning and development.
Solution Customization: Work closely with the sales and product teams to understand customer requirements and tailor our SaaS solutions to meet their specific needs.
Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and the capabilities of our software to provide expert guidance to customers and internal teams.
Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to assist in pre-sales activities, including technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposal development.
Post-Sales Implementation: Oversee the successful implementation of our solutions, ensuring that they meet the client's objectives and deliver measurable value.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to our customers.
Product Feedback: Collect and provide feedback to the product development team based on customer needs and market trends.
Resource Planning: Manage resources effectively to meet project timelines and customer expectations.
Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance metrics for the Solutions Engineering team to ensure consistent success and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in a leadership role within the supply chain software industry, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, SaaS solutions, and technology trends.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
